Robert is a seasoned trial attorney with real courtroom experience having tried thousands of bench trials and over 50 jury trials. Prior to private practice, Robert served with distinction as a Philadelphia Assistant District Attorney. Robert prosecuted thousands of cases protecting our community and fighting for those injured by the criminal acts of others.
Upon entering private practice, Robert was an associate at a well-respected criminal defense firm based in Philadelphia and has personally defended hundreds of clients in both Federal Court and State Court.
At Widener Law School, Robert had the distinction to be a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, Moe Levine Trial Advocacy Society, and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. Robert won the overall Moot Court Competition between the Widener Harrisburg campus and Delaware campus, and likewise was awarded Best Advocate in the Trial advocacy competition. Robert was also awarded upon graduation the E. John Wherry Jr. award for trial advocacy.
Beyond Hoffman, Sternberg, Karpf & Lynch, LLC
Robert enjoys supporting the Penn State Dance Marathon each year, which raises money for the Four Diamonds Fund, aimed at beating childhood cancer. Robert has served as his community homeowner's association president, volunteers to write wills for all clients and any of his Archbishop Ryan high school alumni. Robert also is an Upper Southampton travel basketball coach, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Upper Southampton Basketball Association. Robert is an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Finally, Robert enjoys serving on the Centennial School District School Safety Task Force aimed at proactively protecting our children in school.
